What does Pro unlock?
Pro adds solo puzzle solving (mine directly to your wallet without a pool), opportunistic brainwallet scanning (every key generated is checked against funded addresses for free bonus hits), a dedicated brainwallet cracker mode, PCFG & Markov chain password generation, and a full rule engine. The free version is pool-only.
Is this a one-time purchase?
Yes. $49.99 gets you collider pro for the current major version (v1.x). All minor updates are free. Future major versions (v2, v3, etc.) would be a separate purchase.
Can I run it on multiple machines?
Yes — your license covers up to 5 machines. Your name is embedded in the binary via Ed25519 signature, same binary on every machine. If you have a legitimate need for more (e.g., a large GPU farm), contact support@collisionprotocol.com and we'll increase your limit.
How does the personalized binary work?
When you download Pro, we patch your name and a cryptographic signature directly into the binary. It's unique to you. No license files to manage, no phone-home.
How does brainwallet scanning work?
While solving puzzles, every private key your GPUs generate is also checked against a bloom filter containing 50M+ funded Bitcoin addresses. If any key matches a funded address, you win that balance too. The odds are astronomically small, but it's essentially free — you're generating the keys anyway. Pro also includes a dedicated brainwallet cracker mode with PCFG, Markov chains, and rule-based passphrase generation.
Do I need to build the bloom filter myself?
No. Pro includes a pre-built bloom filter of all funded Bitcoin addresses, updated monthly. Just download and go. If you want to build your own (custom address lists, fresher data), we include a UTXO bloom builder tool that processes blockchain dumps.
Is the free version really open source?
Yes. The free collider is fully open source under the MIT license. You can audit every line of code and build from source. Pro features are closed-source and distributed as binaries only.
What about refunds?
Due to the personalized nature of the binary (your name is baked in at download), all sales are final. Try the free version first to make sure it runs on your hardware.
